12 faces

I finally got my beautiful 12 faces sitting on some shelves in my dining room. These were a wedding gift from the family I au paired for in Germany, and I just love them soo much! My German family was living in China at the time and they found these at a local Chinese artist shop, I love the meaning behind each little face. I can’t seem to find the link for the actual store in China, but you can find them at spin ceramics site linked here -> 12 Faces.

Last week I made my way to Hobby Lobby to get a little greenery to sit in my vases, and I love the combination! Their expressions are all so interesting and you will find yourself standing in one spot longer than you realize studying their little faces. Here is a list of all the emotions they are displaying; grieved, anxious, resentful, angry, annoyed, frowned, worried, silly, shocked, joyful, delighted, and pleased. Can you figure out which one is which? 🙂 untitled shoot-0261 (2).jpg
