baby in a basket

Today during the morning hours, I took Kai in the backyard to enjoy his moses basket and of course so I could take some photos of him in it! Since I have had a baby I drag my camera everywhere, I tried with just my phone at first, but you cannot beat the quality of a real camera! The lighting was as absolutely perfect this morning, and baby boys face was just alight with smiles for his mamma, and I took wayyy too many pictures! Normally I go to edit photos and I get a few that I really love, but today I literally cannot decide which ones I like the best, they are all so beautiful! Of course my subject is cuteness itself and this moses basket is so lovely ( browse them here ), I just love the colors of it and the deep blue brings out Kais eyes! A few things about this basket that I just love! 1. the simplicity of it speaks to my heart, it is just the sweetest place to lay my baby 2. it takes an entire village in Africa to make one (read the story here, I love it! 3.  I love the brand and how they want to help support small business 4. it is really well made, and will be something I can cherish for years to come and maybe pass down to a grandbaby one day! Anyways… scroll below to enjoy some of my favorite photos! untitled-shoot-0082untitled-shoot-0086untitled-shoot-0095untitled-shoot-0104untitled-shoot-0115untitled-shoot-0127untitled-shoot-0126
